FlixCast for Desktop
FlixCast runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Simply choose the version that suits you.
Install it
Download FlixCast for Windows (installer)
Recommended for most people. The installer guides you through setup and can add a desktop shortcut. Administrator rights are not required.
Run it without installing
Download the portable version (ZIP)
Unpack the ZIP file and start FlixCast directly. No installation is required.
You can switch between both versions later without losing your subscriptions or your place in an episode.
Updates
The version above keeps itself up to date — both variants, the portable one included. Once you have installed it, you need not come back here.
Older versions cannot do this yet. If you have had FlixCast for a while and there is no Help menu, download it here by hand once; from then on it looks after itself.
You can look for yourself at any time under Help → Check for updates…, and under Updates in the settings you decide what should happen: install new versions automatically, only be told about them, or only look when you ask. The default is “only tell me”.
Every release is digitally signed. FlixCast installs only what carries that signature — even if somebody were able to change this page.
The warning from Windows
The first time you run it, Windows may say “Windows protected your PC”. FlixCast is not yet digitally signed.
In that case, select More info and then Run anyway.
Uninstalling
You can remove FlixCast through Settings → Apps → Installed apps. Your library and play positions are kept. For the portable version, simply delete the unpacked folder.
